Living well with dementia: Implementing what we know

Event Type: One Day Event
Location: Reichel Hall, Bangor University
Dates: 05 April 2017
Themes: Living well with dementia: Implementing what we know
Conference Website: www.wiserd.ac.uk/events

This free, one-day event is targeted at early career researchers interested in dementia.

Bringing researchers together with key stakeholders (health and social care practitioners, community groups, third sector organisations, people living with dementia and those who support them), the aim is to foster lasting collaboration between researchers, those who participate in research and those who use research findings to improve their practice.

Attendees will learn more about developing research in this area, find out how one service put its research into practice, and hear from an individual living with dementia about the value and purpose of research to them.

The final part of the day will involve a workshop where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and develop more effective ways of putting research into practice.
