This conference brings together a diverse group of healthcare professionals and offers a comprehensive and practical guide for enhancing Parkinson’s disease care through collaboration and excellence in management. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the latest evidence-based practices, cutting-edge research, and strategies to optimise patient outcomes within the NHS. The conference delves into early assessment, multidisciplinary care, patient perspectives, medication management and adherence, non-pharmacological interventions, technological advancements, education in end-of-life care, and research advancements in Parkinson’s disease management. Throughout the day, there will be interactive sessions, small breakout groups, and collaborative exercises, fostering a dynamic learning experience.

The 2022 UK Parkinson’s Audit published in March 2023 stated that it identified some areas of Parkinson’s care which have not improved or have deteriorated including specialised multidisciplinary working, use of standardised practice and evidence-based guidelines, communication and information sharing, medication management and educating the workforce. These areas will be reflected on during the conference.
